摘要: The increased use of renewable energy in electricity generation has not been sufficient to reduce the associated emissions. Therefore, a better understanding evolution consumption may be advisable undertake suitable policies. This paper contributes this by analyzing non-linear income and temperature effects on demand residential sector Andalusia (Spain). To end, panel data OLS, PCSE, quantile regression analysis methods have performed provide complete picture relationship between studied variables. results show evidence support an inverted N-shaped relationship, with respect income, without reaching upper threshold point. also that elasticity, tends increase consumption. It is observed values, increasing above 22°C temperatures decreasing below 15°C progressively, consumption, elasticity being higher for municipalities lower Reinforcing efficiency measures highest recommended.
