摘要: The effect of various solvent extracts Gelidiella acerosa on acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and butyrylcholinesterase (BuChE) activities was investigated. AChE BuChE inhibitory were analyzed by spectrophotometric method. Phytochemical screening the compounds present in done qualitatively. Characterization benzene extract G. GC-MS analysis. results showed that, at 487.80 μg/mL, significant () activity against both with percentage inhibition % (IC50 = μg/mL) μg/mL), respectively. mode exhibited found to be competitive uncompetitive type inhibition, Preliminary phytochemical analysis coupled illustrates that possesses high amount terpenoids, which could reason for potential cholinesterase activity.
