摘要: Collagen is a target of pathogens for adhesion, colonization, and invasion host tissue. Probiotic bacteria can mimic the same mechanism as used by in colonization process, expressing cell surface proteins that specifically interact with extracellular matrix component proteins. The capability to bind collagen expressed several Lactobacillus isolates, including some plantarum strains. In this study we report involvement L. EnoA1 alfa-enolase type I (CnI) binding. By adhesion assays, show mutant strain LM3-CC1, carrying null mutation enoA1 gene, binds immobilized less efficiently than wild strain. CnI overlay assay Elisa tests, performed on purified EnoA1, protein both under denaturing native conditions. using truncated recombinant enolase proteins, also region spanning from 73rd 140th amino acid residues involved
