Integrating patient teaching into bedside patient care: a participant-observation study of hospital nurses

摘要: Abstract Today’s patients are quickly discharged from hospitals and often continue complex treatments at home. Patient teaching is critical hospital nurses encouraged to use “every teachable moment.” This study explored described the nature of integrating patient into daily care factors influencing delivery teaching. A fieldwork method, conducted over 12 months, used participant-observation (PO) a focus group session answer research questions. Three experienced registered working on oncology unit an acute community served as informants. Critical attributes patterns observed events were described.
