A Comparative Study on Thermal and Microstructural Properties of Different Types of NiMnGa Magnetic Shape Memory Alloys

摘要: In this study, the thermal and microstructural properties of first second types NiMnGa alloys were compared by using XRD DSC measurements. According to measurements, these exhibits both a martensite phase with tetragonal structure γ phase. The results show that type alloy has higher intensity main peak, indices (222), than FSMA has. This means crystal is more ordered. Similarly, curves two some differences. When heating cooling, there are peaks in curve alloy, while only one peak. For initial peak an indicator martensitic transformation other Curie temperature. major shows highest enthalpy change activation energy seen for alloy.
