摘要: A period of 15 months was spent studying the behaviour and ecology Indri indri in eastern rain-forest Madagascar. Two groups were habituated to observer followed every six weeks for a complete year. Quantitatives sampling techniques were developed which allowed several animals' to be simultaneously recorded. Surveys conducted three areas different botanical topographical structure censuses performed both at beginning end study. Some behavioural properties a population Indri were investigated one study site by collecting data on vocal interactions between approximately 40 groups.
