摘要: Misuse of prescription opioids, particularly by adolescents, is a growing problem in the United States. It leading cause death and disability this age group. The primary form treatment available to adolescents drug free psychosocial programs. For high risk group that has relapsed after traditional treatment, pharmacotherapy needs be explored. Two issues need addressed: development effective including use opiate antagonists ongoing monitoring, education training clinicians regarding appropriate prescribing practices pain management, with better identification those who misprescribe for personal gain.
