摘要: From a political and economic perspective, senior entrepreneurship seems to be the response demographic consequences of aging workforce in Europe. Several policies strategies by European Union (EU) Organization for Economic Co-operation Development (OECD) promote creating favorable environment frameworks. This article examines role as social innovation understood unmet needs population area activity. In this paper draws on qualitative interviews with 6 experts 4 entrepreneurs (as part larger research project) Poland addition analysis reports evaluations incubator projects. Findings highlight importance other factors than financial sustainability entrepreneurship: (1) connectedness means against isolation, (2) personal self-confidence leading psychological empowerment entrepreneurs, (3) skills, knowledge, experience that are also strengthening their human capital job market. businesses established is not primary goal these undertakings. The suggests due three before mentioned notion might best improving well-being quality life themselves. Senior can an adequate challenges population. However, low rates unemployment, idea becoming entrepreneur appears little tempting.
