摘要: Two main objectives are sought of this project: Develop a mix design indicator from the gyratory compaction parameters that can be related to pavement performance, especially rutting potential, and relationship(s) between these performance. This research relates fundamentals development Superpave system as represented by strategic highway program (SHRP). Based on done under SHRP, it is concluded compactor reasonably simulates field compaction. One unique features volumetric mixture procedure (AASHTO MP2) use densification curves account for two phenomena: during construction traffic service life. Hence, methodology adopted was develop curve indices relate achieved through investigating characteristics its performance pavements built with mixes.
