摘要: The primary goal of this project was to evaluate the validity Contact Energy Index (CEI), a concept that developed in previous ITD project, Hveem mixes Idaho. And establish threshold design values for CEI can be used HMA mix During research, extended and redefined determine Gyratory Stability. Stability, which is an energy based indicator, reflects resistance deformation. A secondary objective develop parameter as indicator fatigue fracture. new test fracture parameter, referred (Jc), developed. measured by semi-circular notched bending (SCBNF) test. Hence, research experimental program designed Stability (GS) Fracture (Jc) along with other properties such Asphalt Pavement Analyzer (APA) rutting Aggregate IMaging System (AIMS) various state Overall, results indicate Toughness Parameter are simple practical methods conjunction current Superpave procedure. These parameters not aimed replace performance tests, but screening discriminate among during stage before conducting more sophisticated time consuming tests.
