Evaluation of the mechanical stability of asphalt mixture using the gyratory compactor

摘要: In this study, four asphalt mixtures were produced using two different aggregate sources, three gradations, and six contents. Super Gyratory Compactor SGC was used to compact all mixtures. The densification curves determine volumetric properties of the mixture. It is necessary evaluate construction caused due traffic loading. Considering Construction Densification Index CDI, (the area that under curve ranges from density at eight gyrations a 92 % theoretical maximum specific gravity), stands for work validation through period achieve percentage air void about 8 %.
