摘要: Plant–pathogen interactions are mediated by a complex network of molecular and cytological events that determine range between susceptibility resistance. The production reactive oxygen species, via consumption so-called oxidative burst, is one the earliest cellular responses following successful pathogen recognition. present investigation was focused on role antioxidant enzymes in imparting resistance tomato against bacterial spot Xanthomonas axonopodis pv.vesicatoria. Ten different cultivars were collected from private seed agencies screened for to disease, using artificial inoculation technique under greenhouse conditions. Involvement pathogenesis studied resistant, susceptible highly cultivars. Eight-day-old seedlings root-dip spray inoculated with inoculum (1 x 10 cfu/ml) harvested at time intervals (0, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, etc., up 72 h) assayed two enzymes. Temporal accumulation ascorbate peroxidase catalase showed maximum activity 12 21h after (hpi) resistant cultivar, whereas it increased 18 36h 42 54 h respectively. Furthermore, Isoforms analysis APX CAT indicated clear difference Resistant cultivar higher enzyme when compared uninoculated control also these discussed.
