摘要: Abstract Objective To investigate seasonal variation of vitamin D levels in 148,821 serum samples during a 2 year time period northern-latitude city the United States. Methods Total assay testing by chemiluminescence was performed on DiaSorin Liaison. Vitamin results were extracted from laboratory information system without patient identification 2011 and 2012 separated season results: less than 10 ng/mL (deficient), 10–20.0 ng/mL (insufficient), 20.1–30 ng/mL (borderline), 30.1–40 ng/mL (sufficient), 40.1–100 ng/mL, greater 100 ng/mL. Results The winter constituted months January through March; spring, April June; summer, July September; fall, October December. data set analyzed included 36,643 winter, 38,299 36,141 37,738 fall demonstrated an expected rise levels. Conclusion This retrospective epidemiological study demonstrates at clinical decision points. Although not unexpected, this has impact studies relating low to higher rates cancer, cardiovascular disease, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, autoimmune host other health risk assessments.
