摘要: The goals of this article are (a) to describe the daily life very old in terms frequency, duration, variety, and social physical contexts activities, (b) examine effects background variables (e.g., age, sex, residential marital status, income, education) on late activity engagement. A representative sample 516 adults aged 70-105 was interviewed about their activities using Yesterday Interview. In contrast most research engagement, measurement approach allows for assessment both type context engaged during day preceding interview. results indicated high frequencies obligatory but also showed substantial time spent discretionary with television viewing occupying participants' leisure time. Most were done alone at home. bivariate multiple regression analyses, age status had strongest association variety; oldest-old those residing long-term care facilities lower levels Results discussed relevance successful aging.
