摘要: Abstract The importance of this study lies with the significant number disasters reported over past decades, financial volume traded, and due associated damages losses. Despite its importance, finding an economic cost assessment methodology to address small large proportions as well cover all disaster types is a challenge. This study, through systematic literature review (SLR), offers taxonomy, framework research agenda for assessing costs disasters. To meet these goals, 1446 peer-reviewed papers 2825 grey documents were retrieved analyzed. results highlight (i) use new technologies (such social media crowdsourcing) pre-defined indicators improving response time; (ii) that there lack usage methods (e.g., econometrics, input-output) within existing methodologies; (iii) are few publications addressing slow-onset Also, proposed aims unify, critical analysis selected documents, common patterns, best practices, functionalities actions obtain independent type size be assessed. Finally, shows including in reviews, 50% methodologies came from source.
