摘要: Impinging jets have been used effectively in several applications including films and foods, rapid cooling heating processes, tempering of glass metal, drying papers, coating, freezing tissue. In this work, a numerical simulation steady unsteady flow heat transfer due to confined 2-D slot jet impinging on constant flux plate is presented. Two cases problem were considered. the first case, jet-to-plate spacing was varied from 2 5 at fixed Reynolds number 500. second 200 750 5. regime, stagnation Nusselt found increase linearly with increasing number, distribution wall region be highly influenced by characteristics jet. A strong correlation between pressure noticed. The critical which symmetry formation vortex sheets disrupted determined. It observed that, area-averaged coefficient high influence drastic changes regime.
