摘要: Abstract Thirty-five patients, 29 men and 6 women, underwent pulmonary chest wall resection for treatment of bronchogenic cancer which had extended into the wall. Anterior was performed in lateral 2, posterior 27. Marlex mesh employed as a prosthetic material 13 patients. Radiotherapy given part planned therapeutic regimen Three patients (8.5%) died postoperative period. There were 21 late deaths. Eleven are alive 7 months to 12 years after resection. The overall actuarial survival, including operative mortality, is 38% at 5 years.
