摘要: Little is known about what possible effects on wood resources might be caused by non-timber forest products (NTFPs). Here, we assessed the patterns of fuelwood consumption related to an NTFP (Caryocar coriaceum) oil extraction and how this non-domestic activity can indirectly increase use pressure species in a protected area, semiarid Brazil. We conducted semi-structured interviews, situ inventories, phytosociological surveys, analyses quality identify set woody plants used production. Householders large volumes dry species, which are highly exploited. Additionally, many preferred have low fuel potential suffer much pressure. The best underused, requires management strategies improve their as source energy. As result, suggest some conservation actions NTFPs.
