摘要: The effect of serotonin 5-HT2 receptor stimulation on long-term potentiation (LTP) in the primary visual cortex was investigated by using rat brain slices vitro. Field potentials evoked layer IV were recorded II/III. agonist 1-(2,5-dimethyl-4-iodophenyl)-2-aminopropane (DOI) did not affect baseline synaptic single-pulse test stimulation, but significantly inhibited induction LTP a concentration-dependent manner (0.1-10 microM). LTP-inhibiting DOI (10 microM) blocked 5-HT2,7 antagonist ritanserin microM), 5-HT1A NAN-190 nor 5-HT3,4 MDL72222 inhibitory also phospholipase C inhibitor U73122, its inactive analogue U73343. These results suggest that is activation receptor-phospholipase system. In addition, abolished presence GABAA bicuculline suggesting receptor-mediated inhibition dependent GABAergic inhibition.
