摘要: Background In New York City, the incidence of tuberculosis has more than doubled during past decade. We examined and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) rate death from all causes in a very-high-risk group — indigent subjects who abuse drugs, alcohol, or both. Methods 1984 we began to study prospectively cohort welfare applicants recipients 18 64 years age abused drugs alcohol. The rates tuberculosis, AIDS, for this were ascertained through vital records City's AIDS registries. Results was followed eight years.
