β-Hydroxyaspartic acid: Synthesis and separation of its diastereoisomers

摘要: Abstract A method has been developed for the separation of diastereoisomers β-hydroxyaspartic acid on Dowex 1 ion-exchange columns. The distribution these isomers in samples, obtained from two different chemical syntheses, determined. In biological systems tested, only erythro -β-hydroxyaspartate showed activity.
