摘要: Abstract Aim: To explore the possible association between receptor for advanced glycation end products (RAGE) gene polymorphisms and risk of cervical cancer. Method: We enrolled 488 patients with squamous cell carcinoma 715 age-matched female healthy subjects as controls. Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection four RAGE (-429T>C, -374T>A, 1704G>T, 82G>S) in all were determined. Results: The genotype distributions allele frequencies -429T>C, 1704 T>G -374T>A not significantly different cancer controls (all P> 0.05). For 82G>S polymorphisms, two groups. had markedly higher percentage 82SS carriage than logistic regression analysis showed that was associated elevated cancer, adjusted odds ratio (OR) 1.98, (P C, 1704T>G did affect serum sRAGE levels. When stratified by HPV status, 82GS carriers subgroup increased versus 82GG (OR=1.68 1.74, respectively, both P S interacting infection, are implicated occurrence
