摘要: BACKGROUND: Gait disorders are common in multiple sclerosis (MS) and lead to a progressive reduction of function quality life. OBJECTIVE: Test the effects robot-assisted gait rehabilitation MS subjects through pilot randomized-controlled study. METHODS: We enrolled with Expanded Disability Status Scale scores within 4.5–6.5. The experimental group received 12 training sessions over 6 weeks. control same amount conventional physiotherapy. Outcomes measures were both biomechanical assessment gait, including kinematics spatio-temporal parameters, clinical test walking endurance (six-minute walk test) mobility (Up Go Test). RESULTS: 16 (n = 8 group, n group) included final analysis. At baseline two groups similar all variables, except for step length. Data showed endurance, as well parameters improvements after training. Pelvic antiversion reduced hip extension during terminal stance ameliorated aforementioned intervention. CONCLUSIONS: Robot-assisted seems be effective increasing competency subjects. Moreover, it could helpful restoring kinematic pelvis.
