摘要: The lecture will review the recent advances in techniques for formation of bubbles gas and droplets liquid two-phase microfluidic systems. Systems comprising ducts that have widths order 100 μm produce suspensions characterized by very narrow size distributions. These systems provide control over all important parameters foams or emulsions, from volumes individual droplets, through volume fraction they occupy, frequency their formation, distribution sizes, including monodisperse, multimodal non-Gaussian fundamental forces at play, mechanism is responsible observed monodispersity.
