摘要: The objective of this study was to analyze the histological, histochemical and morphometrical alterations fibers from soleum muscle rats submitted a swimming program, associated or not administration anabolic steroid decanoate nandrolone. 22 male Wistar were used, 12 which received injection (5 mg/kg) 10 mineral oil mg/kg), twice week. animals 42 sessions during nine weeks (from Monday Friday), with gradual load increase through time. After sacrifice, left removed, immersed in n-hexane conditioned liquid nitrogen. Third middle cuts made microtome cryostat (–20oC), stained HE technique NADH-TR histochemic method. physical training (TA) (TO) presented bigger diameter when compared ones control group (NTA NTO). There significant difference between NTA NTO TA TO groups fiber diameters measures. In groups, severe process phagocytes, rounding hyalinization observed. On other hand, TA, loss oxidative enzymatic activity seen. results suggest that produces hypertrophy similarly, only steroid, but also one oil. However, clear signs greater degeneration.
