摘要: Abstract A novel membrane gradostat reactor (MGR) was patented in 1999. This MGR is used for the continuous production of secondary metabolites, such as lignin peroxidase and manganese peroxidase, from an immobilised biofilm Phanerochaete chrysosporium, response to nitrogen starvation. Extensive research has been done previously on biochemistry enzymatic activities this fungus, but very little information available fungus’ growth kinetics nutrient consumption, within a continuously operated system. It purpose study identify phases quantify consumption P. chrysosporium (BKMF-1767) using single-capillary flow-cell MGR's, under different spore concentrations airflow rates. Biofilm thickness increased with increase both concentration rate. Biphasic (first second exponential phases, separated by short intermediate lag phase) demonstrated. For first phase, rate (kf) ranged between 0.07 0.1 h−1 phase slowed down 0.015 0.05 h−1. The ammonium depletion 96–99% corresponded time phase. At end glucose approximately 13%, compared 24% during system, occurred not depletion. fungal accompanied pH acidification, attributed NH4+/H+ exchange, only up determination rate, kf, biphasic growth, relation reported.
