摘要: Background: The use of self-expanding metal stents in the treatment obstruction esophageal tract, biliary major vessel diseases and colonic has found favor last years. Patients Methods: 13 patients (7 women 6 men) with a mean age 74.7 years were treated for an located at descending colon-sigmoid tract 9 cases, rectosigmoid 2 transverse colon cases. Two cases had post ischemic colitis. Results: conducted successfully all patients. hospital stay was 3.7 days versus 7.8 colostomy (p Conclusions: stent is procedure that can be used not only neoplastic inoperable stenoses but also where surgical risk bigger than endoscopic procedure.
