Effect of High Concentrations of Leukocytes on Whole Blood Viscosity

摘要: Whole blood viscosity of patients with leukemic leukocytosis was compared to that normals a similar total packed cell volume (TPCV). Leukocytes in suspension were also studied and found have greater than erythrocytes. We no relation between the magnitude leukocyte count whole viscosity. The presence anemia leukemia prevented elevation their TPCV. This, as well normal variability obscured any increase could been produced by massed leukocytes.
