摘要: The theory of flow-induced coalescence, based on the switch between rates approach spherical and flattened droplets, is generalized to systems with different droplet radii. Probability, Pc, that collision will be followed by their fusion calculated for containing droplets two radii as a function average radius. Analysis results obtained shows Pc gradually decreasing radius, 〈R〉 in broad range large width distribution. dependence polydisperse system should considered also if experimentally determined particle size regarded result competition breakup coalescence flowing polymer blends.
