摘要: Abstract In the present work, flow motions in a constant volume combustion vessel driven by two fans were investigated using experimental measurement and numerical simulation. The field between was measured particle image velocimetry (PIV) technique. Unsteady RANS (Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes) method used to simulate fan-driven flow. Two different fan models, body force model sliding mesh model, effects of blades. rotating modes, co-rotating counter-rotating, considered. results both models are reasonably good agreement with PIV measurement. velocity predictions close region just below spark plug adaptor, correlate better measurements than further adaptor. However, computational cost is about 10 times more model. Thus, applicable for current application vessel.
