摘要: The light absorbance of photocatalysts and reaction kinetics environmental pollutants at the liquid-solid gas-solid interfaces differ from each other. Nevertheless, many previous photocatalytic studies have applied science to aqueopus applications without due consideration environment. As such, this work reports surface morphological characteristics activities carbon-embedded (C-TiO2) for control gas-phase methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE) under a range different operational conditions. C-TiO2 were prepared by oxidizing titanium carbide powders 350 o C. charac- teristics photocatalysts, along with pure TiC reference TiO2, then determined X-ray diffraction, scan- ning emission microscope, diffuse reflectance ultraviolet-visible-near infrared (UV-VIS-NIR), Fourier transform spectros- copy. showed clear shift in spectrum towards visible region, which indicated that photocatalyst could be activated effectively visible-light irradiation. MTBE decomposition efficiency depended on parameters, including air flow rate (AFR), input concentration (IC), relative humidity (RH). AFRs decreased 1.5 0.1 L/min, average efficiencies increased 11% 77%. ICs 0.1, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 ppm 77%, 54%, 38%, respectively. In addition, RHs 20% , 45%, 70%, 95% 92%, 76%, 50%, 32%, These findings indicate airborne if their conditions optimized.
