摘要: In order to obtain stress ratio as well intensity factor range which was applied on the material before failure from fracture surface observation, effect of fatigue striation height has been investigated two different alloys (an Fe-3% Si single crystalline alloy and a 7075 polycrystalline aluminium alloy). Striation measured both microscopically using scanning tunnelling microscope macroscopically electron microscope. increased with decreasing materials at given crack growth rate. This tendency found by all measuring methods used. suggests that not only amplitude but also were could be obtained post-failure analysis.
