摘要: Differentiated thyroid cancers (DTC) are commonly and successfully treated with total thyroidectomy plus/minus radioiodine therapy (RAI). Medullary cancer (MTC) is only surgery but intrathyroidal tumors cured. The worst prognosis for anaplastic (ATC) poorly differentiated (PDTC). Whenever a local or metastatic advanced disease present, other treatments required, varying from to systemic therapies. In the last decade, efficacy of targeted therapies and, in particular, tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) has been demonstrated. They can prolong progression-free survival represent most important therapeutic option treatment progressive cancer. Currently, lenvatinib sorafenib approved drugs RAI-refractory DTC PDTC while MTC be either cabozantinib vandetanib. Dabrafenib plus trametinib by FDA BRAFV600E mutated ATC. A new generation TKIs, specifically single altered oncogenes, under evaluation phase 2 3 clinical trials. aim this review was provide an overview current future regards cases that require becoming more on molecular identity tumor.
