Evaluation of electronic prescriptions in Turkey: A community pharmacy perspective

摘要: Abstract Objective The purpose of this study was to determine the opinions pharmacists, who are important users e-prescribing practices in Turkey, on function a prescription application. Method A questionnaire developed pharmacists Turkish practices, using stratified and systematic random sampling method. total 378 responded questionnaire. Results average level satisfaction e-prescription reported by 4.4 ± 0.8. Although 52.4% participating no problems application, 47.6% encountering problems. majority associated with were caused physicians entered into system. most common problem (17.4%) inability read code as written physicians. primary contribution practice acceleration procedures. Conclusion E-prescription is advantageous pharmacies across many aspects, improving drug delivery patients, thatthe washighly satisfying. development electronic information technologies increases access toinformation resources diversity, resulting inchanges expectations utilisation levels users; therefore, continuous improvements required improve performance
