摘要: Abstract Knowledge of biodiversity in agroecosystems is crucial for understanding ecosystem functioning, but requires accurate sampling methods. Most studies ground-active arthropods fields rely on activity-density measurement using pitfall traps. Assemblages locally observed are likely to composed both resident and immigrant species, that especially true exhibiting high dispersal abilities and/or larval development very different from the adults. Using a spatially paired design emerging traps vs 10 pairs organic (OF) conventional (CF) fields, we quantified how circulating assemblages an abundant taxa mobile holometabolous insects, carabid beetles, were impacted by field farming systems landscape characteristics. Field was carried out during 5 months 2015 Brittany (Western France), which 24,726 individuals belonging 85 species captured. Our results revealed number significantly higher OF compared CF, reinforcing idea provide more suitable conditions arthropods. Landscape local factors had similar influence assemblages, whereas stronger drivers assemblages. This study highlights importance distinguishing (emergent) (circulating) when assessing differential role vs. community assembly. It also reinforces spatiotemporal movements predatory spillover between croplands, resulting source-sink dynamics with habitat quality being major driver these processes.
