摘要: Surface pressure-area isotherms have been determined for the octadecanol-docosyl sulfate monolayer system on 0.1 M potassium chloride solution. Four different temperatures in range 288 to 318°K and 11 compositions were investigated. The Goodrich method was used calculate free energies, enthalpies, entropies of mixing as excesses over values corresponding properties at lowest observable surface pressure. small negative excess energy thus obtained found result from near cancellation relatively large contributions positive enthalpy entropy. These results are attributed changes hydration monolayers during mixing.
