摘要: SUMMARY: The lipid compositions of two azole-sensitive (A and B2630) azole-resistant (AD KB) strains the opportunistic fungal pathogen Candida albicans were studied by using several extraction procedures: no differences observed between content or total phospholipid/neutral ratios four strains. All contained phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylinositol phosphatidylserine as major phospholipids, with smaller amounts phosphatidylglycerol diphosphatidylglycerol; relative proportions these lipids differed all fatty acid composition each phospholipid within strain differed, there also interstrain differences. A marked effect culture growth phase in batch on was observed. neutral triacylglycerol, non-esterified sterol acid. three fatty-acid-containing distinct from other possessed (lyso)phospholipase activity, which non-specific. triacylglycerol did not vary strains, but AD KB more sterol, giving them a phospholipid/sterol ratio approximately half that There appeared to be relationship exponentially growing sensitive their ability take up azole; this extend resistant either azole took it at faster rate (Darlington) than
