摘要: In many biomedical research areas, animals have been used as a model to increase the understanding of molecular mechanisms involved in human diseases. One those areas is obesity, where porcine models are increasingly used. The pig shows genetic and physiological features that very similar humans shown be an excellent for obesity. Using populations, studies performed unravel architecture Most them pinpointing toward single genes, but more focus on systems genetics approach, branch biology. this chapter, we will describe state art using populations. We obesity briefly discuss pigs with their contribution research.
