摘要: A gelable composition is provided which can be injected into a well prior to steam treatment of the well. The comprises water, water-dispersible polymer, first crosslinker and second crosslinker, wherein crosslinkers have differing temperature responsive crosslinking characteristics over range about 70° F. 400° so as enable polymer gelation substantially entire range. Injection "cold" followed by causes undergo two stage reaction produces particularly effective stable gel in diverting from "thief zones" formation surrounding
