摘要: The interaction between a fluidized bed and the air-supply system is studied numerically in cold circulating unit. was operated with Group B solids an air-distributor pressure-drop similar to that often applied under industrial conditions. simulations experiments are compared through power spectral density distributions of pressure fluctuations air plenum. This work focuses on inlet boundary conditions numerical simulations, i.e., purpose include representation flow system. computed coupled field plenum, based Eulerian approach. Parametric models employed for estimates as time consumption three-dimensional simulation limits length series. provide satisfactory agreement experiments, it seen that, certain conditions, there strong form waves, well pulsations from system, which propagate entire It demonstrated such assumption uniform gas over distributor, assumed most previous fluidized-bed studies, not appropriate. study demonstrates importance further development simulating hydrodynamics beds, particular industrially sized units.
