摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter analyzes the thermal desorption methods and temperature programmed (TPD) experiments. TPD experiments are often interpreted only in a qualitative way, by looking at number of peaks present diagram assigning each them to different adsorbed species. However, profile obtained adequate experimental conditions can give thorough information about kinetics process, or type distribution sites. Some analysis try simplify using selected parameters minimum peaks. These attempts valuable; however, ambiguities cannot be avoided. It is highly recommended test self consistency checking that set able generate curves under coverages surface. discusses detail flow vacuum systems. relative stability adsorption forms. Kinetic process also elaborated.
