摘要: CO2 is a promising and sustainable carbon feedstock for organic synthesis. New catalytic protocols efficient incorporation of into molecules are continuously being reported. However, little progress has been made in the enantioselective conversion to form enantioenriched molecules. In order allow become versatile source academia fine chemical pharmaceutical industries, development approaches essential. Here we discuss general strategies activation generation molecules, alongside selected examples reactions involving asymmetric CO2. The main product classes considered carboxylic acids derivatives (C–CO2 bonds) carbonates, carbamates, polycarbonates (C–OCO bonds). Similarities hydrogenation discussed, some developing novel outlined.
