摘要: We screened the anti-inflammatory activities of polysaccharides from three algae species, such as Porphyra tenera (red algae), Monostroma nitidum (green and Sargassum cristaefolium (brown algae) by measuring inhibition LPS-induced nitric oxide (NO) production in murine RAW264.7 macrophages. In addition, we investigated effects sulfate content molecular size S. cristaefolium polysaccharide on NO inhibitory activity. Among tested alga extracts, extract had highest effect. The with 1193.2, 864.4, 386.1 kDa extract, combination their 4 acid-degraded 106.3, 55.9, 15.4, 1.9 kDa were prepared Sephacryl S-400HR gel permeation chromatography, sample Three samples contents 0.84%, 9.42%, 50.83% obtained NaBH4 desulfating or SO3–DMF sulfurization original 31.1% content. activity was observed 9.42% 386.10 kDa significantly inhibited inducible synthase expression mediated inhibiting phosphorylation signal proteins p-38, ERK JNK, nuclear factor-κB activation lipopolysaccharide-stimulated cells.
