摘要: Listeners can use pitch changes in speech to identify talkers. Individuals exhibit large variability sensitivity and accuracy perceiving talker identity. In particular, people who have musical training or long-term tone language are found enhanced perception. the present study, influence of experience on identification was investigated as listeners identified talkers native well non-native languages. Experiment 1 designed explore two groups individuals with potential advantages for processing: musicians speakers. 2 further individual differences processing contribution by testing a mediation model. Cumulatively, results suggested that (a) confers an advantage identification, supporting shared resources hypothesis regarding music (b) linguistic lexical tones also increases hearing Importantly, these types enhance sharpening perception skills domain-general manner.
