摘要: The invention relates to a family of mammalian genes that are transcribed in the immediate early phase following exposure Fibroblast Growth Factors (FGF) during mesoderm induction, termed Mesoderm Induction Immediate Early Response (MIER) genes. Defining features members this include these a) reponse fibroblast growth factors (FGF); b) expressed within 40 minutes FGF treatment; and c) do not require protein synthesis for transcription. There at least 11 element family. generally compositions diagnostic methods relating M-MIER gene family, cDNA, nucleotide fragments, polypeptides coded thereby, recombinant host cells vectors containing encoding polynucleotide sequences, polypeptides, antibodies, assays designed select substances which interact with therapeutic applications, drug design DNA vaccination methodologies.
