The relationship between immunological parameters and response to therapy in resistant oral candidosis.

摘要: SUMMARY Eight patients with resistant oral candidal infection have undergone full immunological assessment. In four of these no significant abnormality immune function was observed, and all responded to intensive antifungal therapy nutritional supplements iron folie acid as required. The remaining had abnormalities only specific candida-related detectable general function. Surgical excision affected areas mucosa found be the most effective in three cases.
