摘要: The genus Anthostomella is heterogeneous and recent DNA based studies have shown that species are polyphyletic across Xylariaceae. In this study, we present a morphology based, taxonomic treatment, coupled with molecular phylogenetic reassessment of relationships within Anthostomella. This has resulted in the establishment two new genera, eight combinations three among anthostomella-like taxa. Seventeen strains from 16 been revisited. A re-description morphological characters these taxa suggests can be circumscribed on immersed ascomata, cylindrical asci short pedicels pigmented, equilateral ascospores germ slits, while Anthostomelloides characterized by oblong-ellipsoidal lacking slits. brabeji, A. forlicesenica, leucospermi proteae transferred to Anthostomelloides. Pseudoanthostomella gen. nov., possesses solitary as well apical rings closely related Neoanthostomella, but distinguished combination characters, such multiple ascomata completely rings. conorum, delitescens sepelibilis reallocated species, P. pini-nigrae senecionicola. Neoanthostomella viticola sp. nov. added previously monotypic Neoanthostomella. Alloanthostomella nov introduced accommodate rubicola. only diagnosed hyaline so far, study represents comprehensive four independent markers (ITS, 28S rDNA, RPB2 β-tubulin) broad taxon sampling
