摘要: Worldwide, cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a leading cause of death. Endothelial dysfunction now recognized to be key platform for the pathophysiological effects atherosclerosis. It well accepted that atherosclerosis not merely benign and passive process, but in fact dynamic progressive arising from combination endothelial damage/dysfunction, inflammation, thrombosis coagulation potential clot-related vessel occlusion. The between pathogenesis CVD more than simply association, as it clear these processes are critically influenced by one another. In this preface we present basic overview evidence support relationship, which will expanded upon sequential chapters. addition briefly discuss number novel anticoagulants only reduce coagulation, have ancillary antiinflammatory properties, thus further supporting triad development CVD.
