摘要: Tissue factor (TF) is a transmembrane glycoprotein and the main triggering element of blood coagulation. TF expression on monocytes endothelial cells induced by exposure to endotoxin, tumor necrosis factor, IL-1 considered appear in consequence inflammation. In order assess proinflammatory capacity itself, recombinant extracellular domain was injected intra-articularly into healthy mice. To characterize role immune TF-induced arthritis, mice deprived lymphocytes, neutrophils were used. Histomorphological analysis joints with respect inflammatory cell infiltration, pannus formation erosion revealed development arthritis 80% animals TF. most cases synovial proliferation accompanied cartilage destruction. Inflammatory infiltrate consisted CD4-Mac1+ macrophages. Depletion was, however, not enough abolish Indeed, combined deficiency lymphocytes required prevent inflammation following injection We observed that chemokine production (MIP-1α RANTES), but did induce proliferative response nor cytokine release mouse spleen cells. has strong inflammatogenic properties mediated predominantly their chemokines. Our study shows can simultaneously trigger coagulation systems.
