The most serious of these is the notion that size and growth rate U.S. are only minor contributors this countrys adverse impact on local global environment. discussion in article centers around 5 theorems which demonstrate following: 1) causes a disproportionate negative environment 2) control necessary but not sufficient means seeing us through whole crisis environmental deterioration 3) density poor measure pressure 4) as term must be broadly construed include physical urban ghettos well human behavioral 5) theoratical solutions out problems operational times solutions. paper concludes redirection technology transition from open closed resouce cycles equitable distribution opportunity ingredients prosperity all accomplished if there future worth living.
